구현을 설정하기 위해 알아야 할 사항
귀사에서 ‘Lodging Sponsored Listings API’를 구현하는 과정에서 당사의 통합 및 출시 관리 팀이 귀사 팀과 긴밀히 협력할 것입니다. 긴밀한 협력을 전제로 할 때, 구현 기간은 일반적으로 8주로 예상되며, 여기에는 end-to-end 테스트에 소요되는 2주가 포함됩니다.

적격 검색이 이루어질 때마다, 귀사는 미리 선별된 Expedia Group 숙박 시설 ID 목록을 당사에 보내주셔야 합니다. 이번 기회를 통해 숙박 시설가 귀사의 사이트에서 스폰서드 리스팅에 선정될 수 있는 자격 요건을 직접 설정해 보세요.
대략적으로 말하자면, 여행자 측에서 일어나는 일의 순서와 귀사의 시스템이 수행하게 될 작업은 다음과 같습니다:
API 통합
1단계: 검색 컨텍스트 데이터를 사용하여 Lodging Sponsored Listings API에 요청을 전송합니다.
참고: 이 호출은 사용자가 수행할 수 있는 요금 비교 호출과는 전혀 관련이 없으며, 요금 및 예약 가능 여부를 조회하기 전, 조회 중 또는 조회 후에 수행할 수 있습니다.
- 평소처럼 가용성 결과를 집계하고 정렬하십시오.
- 모든 요청에 걸쳐 고객 ID가 유지되도록 해야 합니다.
고객 ID 관련 참고 사항: 클릭 광고에 투자하는 광고주들은 자신의 광고 지출로 창출된 가치에 대한 명확한 통찰력을 기대합니다. 숙박 후원 게시물의 경우, 이 수치는 광고 노출 또는 클릭을 통해 발생한 예약 건수로 측정됩니다. 하지만 숙박 시설 재고가 여러 채널에서 조달되는 경우, 포괄적인 예약 기여도 데이터를 제공할 수 없으므로 모든 광고 요청에 일관된 고객 ID가 포함되어야 합니다. 해당 ID는 광고 추적 과정 전반에 걸쳐 유지되어야 하며, 예약 기여도 정보에 포함되어야 합니다. 그래야만 광고 상호작용과 그 결과로 발생한 예약을 정확하게 연결할 수 있습니다.
2단계: 가용성 결과에서 관련 숙박 시설를 찾습니다.
광고 노출을 극대화하고 수익화를 최적화하려면, 익스피디아를 통해 예약하지 않는 숙박 시설 ID라도 반드시 해당 ID를 익스피디아의 숙박 시설 ID에 매핑해야 합니다. 모든 숙박 시설가 스폰서드 리스팅 프로그램에 참여하는 것은 아니기 때문에, 이 두 숙박 시설 집합 간에 완벽한 대응 관계가 형성될 가능성은 낮습니다.
- 광고 게재 응답에서 반환된 익스피디아 숙박 시설 ID를 귀하의 예약 가능 여부 결과와 비교해 보세요.
- 숙박 시설 리스팅 내용을 스폰서 리스팅과 병합하세요. Lodging Sponsored Listings API의 결과에는 숙박 시설 ID와 광고 내용만 반환되며, 그 외의 내용은 포함되지 않습니다.
3단계: 스폰서 검색 결과를 재고 검색 결과 사이에 삽입하기 (선택 사항)
스폰서 광고 숙박 시설는 검색 결과 상단에 표시되거나 자연 검색 결과 전체에 흩어져 표시될 수 있습니다. 순서만 지켜진다면, 목록을 어디에 배치하든 상관없습니다.

광고 순위와 광고 위치는 모두 광고의 배치와 관련이 있지만, 둘은 같은 개념이 아닙니다.
- 광고 순위()는 경매 후 광고의 순위를 결정합니다. 우승한 광고에는 1위가, 그 다음으로 높은 광고에는 2위가 부여되며, 이와 같은 방식으로 최대 25위(반환되는 광고의 최대 개수)까지 순차적으로 순위가 매겨집니다.
- 반면, 광고 위치 는 페이지상에서 광고가 실제로 배치된 위치를 의미하며, 일반적으로 1(맨 위)부터 아래로 번호가 매겨집니다. 페이지로 나뉜 결과에서는 항목의 순서가 페이지 간에 연속적으로 이어집니다. 예를 들어, 한 페이지당 숙박 시설 목록 10개를 표시하고 각 페이지의 1번과 10번 위치에 광고를 게재하는 경우, 2페이지의 첫 번째 광고에는 11번 위치가 할당되어야 합니다. 정확한 측정 및 보고를 보장하기 위해서는 모든 추적 비콘에 광고 위치를 포함하는 것이 중요합니다.

순위 기반 광고 순서: 검색 결과에서 스폰서 링크를 표시할 위치를 선택할 수는 있지만, 숙박 시설 응답의 경우처럼 re-sort 를 적용하거나 선택 알고리즘을 적용할 수는 없습니다. 이는 API를 통해 제공되는 스폰서 링크의 순서가 실시간 경매 결과를 반영하기 때문이며, 숙박 시설가 노출 순위를 확보하기 위해 특정 cost-per-click 금액을 입찰하기 때문입니다.
특정 숙박 시설가 스폰서 목록에 노출되는 것을 원치 않는 경우, ‘Lodging Sponsored Listings API’ 요청에서 해당 숙박 시설 ID를 제외할 수 있습니다.
광고 관련 내용: 필터와 같은 추가 검색 매개변수는 특정 검색에 해당될 수 있는 숙박 시설의 수를 제한합니다. 요청에 포함하는 숙박 시설의 수를 최대한 늘리시는 것을 권장합니다. 여행자의 입력 내용 이외에 추가 필터를 적용할 경우, 광고 수익 기회를 놓칠 수 있습니다.
숙박 시설 헤로 이미지: API 응답을 통해 전송된 property-selected 헤로 이미지를 반드시 사용해야 하는 것은 아니지만, 사용하는 것을 권장합니다.
숙박 시설 스폰서 링크와 자연 검색 결과의 중복 표시: 스폰서 링크에 포함된 숙박 시설가 검색 결과의 두 번째 자연 검색 결과에도 표시되어야 하는 것이 업계 표준입니다. 숙박 시설는 정렬 결과에서 더 높은 노출을 얻기 위해 더 높은 입찰가를 제시할 의향이 있습니다.
예를 들어, 검색 결과의 1위 자리를 스폰서 광고용으로 할당하고, 호텔 A가 경매에서 낙찰되어 스폰서 광고로 1위 자리에 노출되는 경우입니다. 자연 검색 결과의 목록 선정 및 정렬 순서에 따라, 호텔 A는 페이지 하단 쪽인 7번째 순위에 두 번째로 표시됩니다.
검색 결과에서 유료 광고가 해당 자연 검색 결과의 바로 위나 아래에 표시되는 경우는 드물며, 검색 결과 상단에 표시되는 경우는 전체 검색의 2%에서 3%에 불과합니다. 만약 그런 상황이 발생하면, 한 가지 방법은 자연 검색 결과의 순위를 몇 단계 아래로 내려, 사용자 경험을 저해하지 않는 수준으로 오프셋을 조정하는 것입니다.
