Lodging Property Types

Each property is assigned to a type which describes the kind of accommodation it is

Note that there are two kinds of properties in Expedia inventory:

• Conventional Lodging — Refers to businesses that operate for the purpose of providing lodging for hire.
• Vacation Rentals — Refers to private residences that are offered for rent by their owners.

Partners can refine their Lodging Search API queries to include or exclude the property types listed below through using the includedPropertyTypeIds or excludedPropertyTypeIds request parameters.
