Attach modules overview

Attach modules can help drive traffic to and bookings on your White Label Template site. Use attach modules to:

• Build your travelers’ awareness of other lines of business that can be purchased from your template site
• Promote additional purchase opportunities with a single line of code
• Offer better deals for travelers with multi-item package rates
• Personalize your site with configurable size, brand, and color options
• Display text, currency, and dates in the local formats, and provide resizing across device types

Attach module types

A White Label Template site offers two types of attach module to serve your—and your travelers’—needs.

Flexible attach module

This type allows you to show hotels, cars, activities, and ground transportation pre- or post-purchase with images and configurable messages. Choose from multiple layout options and personalize the messaging, links, and photos.

Recommendations attach module

This type lets you offer hotel or car recommendations powered by machine learning, then redirect travelers to your template site to book. The machine-learning model ensures relevant hotels or car rentals are surfaced to travelers at the right time in their shopping journey.

Request URLs

When adding attach modules to your pages, you’ll create a request URL made up of a domain, an endpoint, the request details, and a signature. This URL acts as a filter to preselect information that you want to highlight for your travelers.

Display options

We offer two ways to display your attach module information: as an overlay or embedded within the page. You’ll add the request URL into the post-booking pages with line of JavaScript code and, for embedded attach modules, an extra <div> element. The JavaScript runs when the page loads to display the module content.
