Getting started with Analytics
Step 1. Become a partner
Whether you’re a business that wants to give your customers an opportunity to book travel through you or a travel agent looking to use Expedia’s inventory, you’ll need to be an Expedia partner. Our Analytics offering can be integrated with our White Label Travel Platform product or with our Travel Agent Affiliate Program (TAAP).

Step 2. Select your options
Once you’ve become a partner, you can choose from our data domain options:
- Itineraries: Keep track of your earnings, identify patterns, and offer a consistent post-booking user experience
- Loyalty Earn: Let customers earn your loyalty currency (points, dollars, or something else) when they purchase travel through you (White Label Travel Platform only)
Note: For our White Label Travel Platform partners, we also offer an option that lets customers use their earned loyalty currency through your site. Check out the Points Bank API in our Travel Platform product for more information.
Step 3. Choose how to update
The Analytics data are available either via API or with file-based delivery through our Portal. You can choose which option best suits your business.
When you choose to update via API, your development team will determine how your system will communicate with ours:
- Push events deliver near-real-time updates directly to your system
- Pull events let you decide which data to bring in and when
If you’d rather set up to use file-based delivery, you can manually update at any time. Our standard reports are flexible enough to have a variety of fields, delivery schedules, and file formats, but don’t require extra development.
