Why is ‘SupplierConnectivity: GAC’ updating my capacity?

For API connected partners, Expedia updates your availability on a regular automatic cadence. Changes made by the 'Supplier Connectivity GAC' means Expedia has processed checks on your inventory via Connectivity using API, referred to as a General Availability Check (GAC) call.

If an urgent availability update is needed, use the Update Availability button to trigger a one-off immediate update to the availability on Expedia. An availability check for the next 330 days will then be made on the option that is selected.

  1. Enter the Availability Manager in Expedia Group Activities Partner Central

  2. Choose the specific product and option that you are refreshing from the drop-down lists and then Update Availability

  3. Within 15 minutes, your availability will be updated

How do I know if I am API connected in Partner Central?

If you are connected to Expedia via a reservations platform or direct API connectivity, a heading labelled 'Connected Via Platform Name' will appear under your Supplier Name on the Partner Central Self-Service home page.

At the product level, a heading will appear under your Supplier Name showing the product code that your reservations platform or direct API uses to identify the Expedia product you are viewing.

For example, if your activity has the product code of A12345 in Rezdy, the heading in LXPC would appear as 'Connected Via A12345'.

If this heading or product code is incorrect or you are no longer using the platform listed, please reach out to your Destination Manager directly.

How often does the Pricing Ingestion check for new partner pricing?

Pricing Ingestion is set up at an auto-cadence that checks prices at a regular interval (e.g., every day or hour), depending on the partner. If you want to know more about your system cadence, please reach out to your connectivity provider's support team.

Do I need to create a price group when I create a new option with Pricing Ingestion?

There must be at least one price group under an option to automatically enable the Pricing Ingestion feature on that specific option.

How will I be notified of Price Ingestion errors and what happens to the data?

If there's an error during Pricing Ingestion, pricing will remain the same as it was during last ingestion. Errors are monitored by both the connectivity provider and Expedia.
